HELLO ALL. I know the Shirim webby has been pretty dead but SHIRIM DEFINITELY ISN'T!!! We're moving on at the speed of sound! We have so many invites to play! We're a roaring success are we not! GO FEMALE PIPERS!!! Here are some updates:
RECENT/UPCOMING PERFORMANCES:
9th July - at RGPS for their 20th anniversary (2pm)
11th July - our GB Day at school morning assembly
16th July - sch open house
23rd july - National Heritage Trail
6th Aug - have not accepted...Tampines East CC National Day Dinner Mah Bow Tan VIP.
KILT BUSINESS:
The kilts are on their way from Scotland despite protests from the south zone GB head. She just can't keep up with change. -shakes head- Anyhow, knees socks and leather sporrans, HERE WE COME!!!
NEW PRACTISE REGIME:
The sec 2s have successfully taken to the bagpipes! (although unfortunately everyone is scared of my pipe and refuses to play it!!! its not THAT difficult you know) BLEAGH. SOMEONE PLAY MY PIPE. Yes, and we need the sec 2s in performance standard BY THE END OF THE MONTH. So, we now practise DAILY during recess, lunch or after school! There's a really pretty roster! And guess what, we have VEV! ValElisaVic! The three woohoo pipers! All the VEV members have lower abs you know! And powerful thigh muscles! Serious! We rock...stone...boulder...AVALANCHE!!!

Do you want to post on this blog? Do you love shirim a lot? Can you type proper English? Proper English as in you don't type like Kim Wakerman or like this : "oh my gawd, lyk i rilly lub pipers worz! lyk harharz! itz lyk so funn! i noe dat drums is nis 2 play! der pract lyk veh der long but nebermind...i lub itz!" You get the gist here? We have to portray a semi-idealistic picture of the band, not bimbo club! Hahah! We should just be ourselves+good grammar and spelling. Please take into consideration Ms Leow is a Literature teacher! She might have to print out our entries and we'll have to do corrections! Wahahah!
